Little Tickets of Delight

I am a great Keeper-of-Things, and some of the things I have kept over the years are tickets. Tickets from when a ticket was a ticket (I think I have rambled on about this earlier in the blog!) Anyway, here is a small sample of delightful tickets, back in the day when a trip on the tube cost you 50p! What is it now? I never go to London, so I haven't the foggiest - probably £7.00 or something! Ah, those were the days!

There's something very 'real' about tickets with proper stamp style printing on them isn't there? I miss the human touch.x

Heavens Liz, you ARE a hoarder. That was a trip down memory lane. Being a less-is-more believer I don't keep anything, but love all things from times-past. I stumbled into a retro shop today which sold clothes I remember from my mother's wardrobe back in the 70's. What an education. Keep your clothes Liz, coz in thirty years from now they could be hanging in a shop with expensive price tags!!!!

Funny, I have a drawer full of old tickets to all sorts of places... I think it's a genetic disorder that causes hoarding... comes from squirrels and magpies in the ancestry... Am enjoying your comments !

Haha! Love it Owen! it's definately a genetic disorder with me! Another symptom of this strange disease is the desire to want to live in an old canvas tent (because of they smell nice!)and an obsession with old Volkwagens (for similar reasons!)
