Tiddles makes sandcastles

Tiddles is still at the seaside, making lovely sandcastles and sporting the best beach shorts ever! I am still Liz-of-the-no-emails, and wish I was on the beach with Tiddles, making lovely sandcastles...

Looks like Tiddles is having a wonderful vacation! and those really are great beach shorts, in the new Fluffville Fabric line! (Darn it all, why hasn't your agent replied?! maybe he/she came down with the flu or something....)

About doing a printer's dummy book...i was thinking you might want to do a "graphic novel" style book, with panels, like you did for the Owl and the Pussycat. You've certainly got all the "stuff" for several delightful little books...Tiddles Takes a Holiday; Tiddles Bakes a Cake; Tiddles Studies Maths...etc.!!

Hi Paula, Good advice - I was looking through all my files and realise I have loads of Fluffville type stuff, so I have, in fact, started to put a dummy book together....But I seem to have become gripped by a sort of depressed stupor today, which isn't nice, and involves lots of feeling negative and hopeless about it all....The only known cure is pussycats and chocolate! (Cats are all out probably killing things, but chocolate can be got!)

Hmmmm, I'd say chocolate and kitties can go a long way to help when feeling down!
Hope you hear good news from your agent soon!

I hope the cats provided some purr therapy to go with the chocolate, and that you feel better today!

Don't eat the cats.
Your work is wonderful, Liz.
You amaze me and I'm inspired by your stick-to-it-ness.
"Slump" is living at my house too. I'm leaving lame blog posts and making sketches of sardonically grinning girls between feeding the neighbors cat and staring into space. Gotta sweep out the cobwebs today and do something good.
Fingers perpetually crossed for you, as usual! Do you want me to go find that agent?!

Hey Ronnie! Yeah! I want you to go and find her, and hold her up by the ears, and say 'Why don't you just mail people and put them out of their misery!!"
Seriously, I don't get it? Why would they say they'd let everyone know by LAST wednesday, then the big s i l e n t t r e a t m e n t for a whole week. Arrggghhh!!!!!
On the plus side, I have got a good dummy book together (ok, so it's held together by sticky tape, but it looks nice!) and I have been short-listed for another job!! Woohoo!
