One Small Step for Man, One Giant Leap for a Small Orange Tiger! (And some Bunnies)

Well, I can't actually believe this has happened - but it has! 'Fluffville Saves Energy' is going to be published! I went along to the meeting, presented my dummy book, facts and figures - and they said Yes! I now have a lot of work to do, as we are working to a tight deadline, and need to get the books into schools and libraries by the end of March! This means I have to seriously get drawing, and of course, I have to do my schools visits and everything else as normal. Maybe I'll be allowed one day a week to work from home, that would be nice!

Work hard and then get a good nights sleep on your new bed.

Oooh, my bed is amazing Ronnie - I can't believe it's mine! ( I've never had a new bed, always second hand ones out of the paper!) I'm so glad it's Saturday tomorrow, as I can stay in it for longer, and see what a cup of tea tastes like in it! Lovely to hear from you xxx

Hi Liz. What excellent news!! That's an amazingly tight deadline that you're working on...must be a small press that is working locally? It would be great if you could work from home one day a week...that's what i'm doing today...it saves a lot of energy!!

I am so happy to hear this great news! I can't think of anything more thrilling than having a book published! Good for you!! I guess you might not be able to relax and bask in the enjoyment of it till the work is behind you...But to see a stack of your own books printed up - Wow, that would have to put a person over the moon. So glad that one thing led to another, and that you are able to put all your clever ideas to good use!

Thanks Guys! You're all so kind, it means a lot to me xx I'm working hard to get all the text / rough illustrations down, so I can get their feedback / approval - I figured that would be a good first step?!
Never done this before 'in real life', so I'm just doing what i think I've seen other people do on the weblet!!
Wow, how professional am I?!! Haha!
