I had a go at making some little boats out of driftwood to sell at the boot fair, along with Tiddles' cakes. The sail is hand-stitched, with a bunny motif. They have taken kind of ages, though, so I'm not really sure if they'd work at the boot fair, as people want to buy things for pennies, really. Hmm, oh well, maybe I'll just keep them and pop them around the house!
Oh Liz it's so sweet! Much too good for a car boot sale. You need to sell it on a site like Etsy where it can wait for a more discerning customer who appreciates its worth!x
They're so cute. Funny- I'd seen an article in Homes and Antiques which had some driftwood boats and I was thinking of trying a few. I agree - you should stick them on Etsy - I'm sure they'd do well.
I live in deepest, darkest Galloway in South West Scotland in a beautiful old cottage with my partner and two pussycats, Bob and Bacon. Bob is the boss of all of us, and we are but his mere slaves and pander to his every whim!
We have a little summer hut situated on the shores of Lago Trasimeno in Umbria; it's a great place place to escape to, riding my pink bicycle in the sunshine!

Oh for a life on the ocean waves! I like these little boats - they should sell well. Pity you don't do mail order.
