Tiddles is Anxious

Tiddles starts his new job tomorrow as Eco-Schools Co-ordinator.....OK, really it's me who is starting the new gig, and I am feeling really nervous and anxious. I was so happy being at home with my pussycats, drawing Fluffville comic strips and chopping logs. But I didn't actually earn any money; well one or two pennies - not enough for cars bills, electricity, council tax etc. Oh well, ho hum.....

Please keep your fingers and paws crossed for Tiddles and I tomorrow!

Feel the fear and do it anyway! You've got a tiger in your tank (old slogan from Esso gas company, I think) so let them hear you roar! (or at least speak loudly enough for them to hear you over the pandemonium). Go get'em, tigers! (there's nothing quite like the promise of a paycheque for overcoming fears).

And no doubt you'll be spending less time at the easel like me when I started a full time job recently. But it's what has to be done. I wish you all the best Liz and hope you'll let me know how you get on..I'll mind Tiddles while you're out. What does he eat btw? I hope he won't empty my cupboards and drink all the water in the tap, and daddy's beer like the Tiger who came to tea (Amazing kids book by Judith Kerr, for anyone wondering)

All the best
