I go to a little VW show every year at Biggar (near Edinburgh), called Volksfling. It's not as big and full-on as the shows in England, but it's a chilled out, fun weekend and a great chance to do a bit of Bus Spotting! Here are two beautiful split screens from last year; Can't wait for this years show - I think I'll take my canvas tent!

Wow, that looks like a terrific way to spend an afternoon, out ogling old oddities of VWs... (that's five "o" words in a row!) I was surprised at the number of comments that came in for the bus photos I posted, seems like people really do look at those old airbag-less death traps with great affection... I know I do. I just wish I'd known about the manufacturing flaw they have that causes the fuel line to the motor to break and spill fuel on the hot exhaust manifold, in turn causing engine fires... that's how I lost my first one. So, did you get your canvas tent aired out ?
