Can anyone write a Tiddles story?

I am really enjoying my job as Eco-Schools Coordinator, but I don't want to give up on my dream of having a Tiddles the Tiger book published. I was chatting to a colleague yesterday, and he suggested I try and find someone who can write a story, and I illustrate it. I thought this was a good idea, and wondered if anyone in Blog Land could, or would write a Tiddles story. If you browse through my blog, you will see what kind of a tiger Tiddles is (small and orange!) and you will also find out about his 'friends', the Stepford Bunnies...... They all live in Fluffville, which is a small town by the sea. So, if anyone feels inspired by this, please get in touch! Here are some sketches of Tiddles on one of his holidays, which I hope you like!

Whoa Liz..what an inspiring idea. It's normally the other way around - I hope you get someone interested in trying out a Tiddles challenge!

Fantastic! I made a self-published book with lulu.com and collaborated with a friend. However now that I've done that, next time I'd much rather do the writing myself too and have more control over the whole thing! Even with a friend, it's difficult to get things done in the way you would personally want it. I'll bet you could write it! You do know your characters the best. I think it's an exciting idea, good luck with finding someone special, or maybe jotting down some ideas yourself? ;o)xx

Hi Liz... how I would love to try to help you write a story with Tiddles and the Stepford bunnies, if only I had the time ! If only I hadn't a horrid job that eats up my days like Belgian waffles with syrup and cream on them... Writing for Tiddles would be ever so much more fun that what I actually do for a living... But still, you've planted a seed, I'll think about it... who knows. But then, I'd also tend to agree with Jessie, I'll bet you could dream up a wonderful story, just like you dreamed the characters up in the first place. And you know, who ever thought that Harry Potter could become vastly popular, when other stories like the Lord of the Rings, and Narnia, and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and other magical worlds already existed, but there was room still for another huge success... well, in the spirit of Where the Wild Things Are, or the Wind in the Willows, or Christopher Robbin, I'm sure there's plenty of room for another wonderful tiger adventure... and the illustrations will carry it, in my humble opinion... will be back to look more closely at the sketches, it's late now, and I must toddle off to bed, to dream of Tiddles' adventures !
Affectionately yours,
