Aww, love the picture of the old teddies. Nice newspaper article about you! And what's the story behind the train ticket? I play scrabble on the Internet with somebody from Tunbridge Wells!
Hey Guys - Jessie, they got that bit wrong! No, never - just the wee exhibition years and years ago... Ticket was from a lovely trip to T Wells when I was a little art student, hence, 'Child'! You used to get on for half-price! Tunbridge Wells is a very nice place indeed, Paula, you should visit!
That's a lovely newspaper clipping... and a great start... I can see where this is heading... well, when you get to be as big as Ms Rowling, and richer than the Queen, I hope you'll remember your obscure fellow bloggers, your supporters from way back when, well, now...
Maybe you could even set up a foundation to provide grants to promising artists so they wouldn't have to work day jobs any more and could pursue their art full time...
If there are leftover cakes after Sunday, I'm sure Tiddles has some bird and duck friends who'd be happy to perform an emergency cake disposal session... I wouldn't want to have to picture you looking like the fat boy in the movie of Roald Dahl's story "Matilda" who has to eat a whole chocolate cake... have you seen that one ??? ;-D
I live in deepest, darkest Galloway in South West Scotland in a beautiful old cottage with my partner and two pussycats, Bob and Bacon. Bob is the boss of all of us, and we are but his mere slaves and pander to his every whim!
We have a little summer hut situated on the shores of Lago Trasimeno in Umbria; it's a great place place to escape to, riding my pink bicycle in the sunshine!

...and I have never been 'Widely Known' - this blog is the widest I've got, although that may change after Cake Sunday!
