There has been a big Fancy Dress Party on the last night of Tiddles' holiday. He went as a Pirate! I really don't know why he is dressed as a butcher with a tray of 'Finest Sausages' - I think it could be something to do with the 'other tigers'.....No doubt I'll find out tomorrow, as he's driving back up the M6 in his little red camper van - I can't wait to see him!

E 'questo il vostro passaporto, il sig Tiddles?
This is what the Italian Guard said to 'Mr' Tiddles when he dropped his passport! I can't believe I am going to Italy next Tuesday, flying to Pisa then taking the train to Lago Trasimeno. It's cool, but I'm already having pusskin withdrawal symptoms - I'll miss them so much. I could quite easily become one of those mad people who never go anywhere, not a good thing. So I guess I'll be going then. Cats will be going to stay with Kind Betty at Pensione Gatti in New Galloway, then we continue up the road to Prestwick Airport. Phew!

More things from Tiddles' hols
Holiday Snaps
Ooh, great, Tiddles has sent me some snaps - he only has a little black and white pointy-click camera, but I think they're quite good! Hmmm, they must be the 'other tigers', still don't know who they are.... Toby looks like fun, and so does the pic-nic, but I'm not sure about the 'Kiss me Quick' hat, maybe he's in Blackpool?

A Postcard from Tiddles
Tiddles has gone on holiday in his little camper van, and he's sent us a postcard. I think he's gone to the seaside, but it can't be here, as it certainly isn't hot or sunny! I hope he'll take loads of pictures, so we can see what he gets up to - I wonder who the 'other tigers' are? Can't wait to find out!

IF 'Intricate'
Poor Tiddles is struggling with his jigsaw, as his paws are too big to hold the pieces easily. What happens next is that all the pieces go flying in the air! Nasty, fiddly, intricate little pieces! I've heard nothing from the agent re. the USA trip - maybe no news is good news, but I'll be sure to let you know when I hear something. Probably be after the weekend now, so have a great one everybody!

Tiddles' Oscar and our Six Nice Things
Tiddles was a bit miffed that he hadn't won an award, so I fixed it for him - here he is, very proud with his Golden Tiger! Now, for our six nice things. The first, and most important has to be my three beautiful pussycats who I love with all my heart. If pussycat kisses and cuddles were money, we'd all be billion-squillionaires in this house! Next is Fluffville; I really enjoy drawing Fluffville and Tiddles, it's given me an real escape, as I don't go anywhere anymore! Thing number three is, and this may seem strange, the iconic Volkswagen Bus, I love them, and am quite a geek. I know all about their engines and gearboxes, and loads of other useless stuff. If I ever get any money again, I'll buy another one, that's for sure! Numero Quattro, our little hut in Umbria. It's only a humble little dwelling, but it feels so magical to have it, and we're going over to see if it's OK in a few days time! Fifth nice thing - my garden. It's a bit boggy now, but all the plants are popping up, and in the spring and summer it's absolutely beautiful. Last, but not least, is my blog and all you guys who have become like friends to me. I get so much from this; all the encouragement, some laughs, and finding long-lost friends - it's great!

I have won an Oscar! (well, sorta!)
Thank you very much Quiltcat http://quiltcatmews.blogspot.com/ for giving me this Award. I'll have to write a speech, and cry a lot, and thank lots of people.....No news yet from the Agent, maybe they are too busy to email people. I will let you know, as soon as I hear, good or bad. Is it OK if I do my nice things tomorrow, as I'm too tried to do it tonight?

Little Noddy
Well I told you I would, and I have! Here's two Noddy drawings which I did right after I posted Tiddles in his pants! One is my wind-up Noddy, and the other is my Noddy egg cup from eBay. There is also a picture of one of Enid Blyton's Noddy book covers for people who don't know what on earth I'm wittering on about - there was a right carry on about the 'Gollywogs' (racist) and the books were withdrawn and had to be re-written without them. Oh dear. Noddy books were a HUGE part of my childhood, Big Ears, Tessie Bear, Bumpy Dog and Mr. Plod....Parp Parp! Here comes Noddy!
Tiddles in his undies and Sooty and Sweep
I enjoyed the dressing-up so much, I thought I'd do another one! Little things certainly do please little minds in my case! This time, Tiddles is resplendent in retro 70's 'y' fronts ( in fetching lime green!) and vest. He is going to wear a 'Sooty and Sweep' shirt - I am soooo jealous, and I'm going to steal it ( but Tiddles is only nine centimetres high!) For those that don't know, Sooty and Sweep are iconic British glove-puppets from the 1950's, created by Harry H Corbett. I was brought up with them, and have various Sooty items in my ever-expanding collection, including a broken sooty clock (as seen in 'It's Time for Tiddles') and a Sooty mug and plate. I am a big Noddy fan, too, so I think the next post will be to draw some stuff with Noddies on. Watch this space!

Baby Tiddles and Tiddles' new car
Here is a little Tiger, who looks like Tiddles, but isn't. (The real Tiddles is older). Anyway, as a result of The Real Tiddles' success modelling for 'Grr!', he earned so much money he was able to buy a new car! Wowzer, those fashion-industry types sure do pay well! It's the coolest VW Bus, which he is going to use for wonderful camping trips to the seaside. Meanwhile, in my world, I wait for the decision of the trip to the USA. (we'll know sometime on Wednesday if any work was commissioned!) It's raining here, which has interrupted my plans to get the veggie plots dug over (Hurrah, it's cold out!) so I will just have to stay indoors in the warm, and draw.....more Tiddles!

Dress-Up Tiddles!
Do any of you remember these little dress-up games from childhood? You had to cut around the clothes, and dress up little cardboard figures - it was such fun! I thought I would have a go at making one for Tiddles; it was so successful that he has landed a big modeling contract for the designer label,'Grrr'! Wow, I hear he is likely to make quite a bit of money from this, so I hope he remembers, 'Tiddles, I made you what you are today!'
